Riley Green Announces ‘Damn Country Music Tour’ Featuring Ella Langley
Country music star Riley Green has unveiled plans for his headlining ‘Damn Country Music Tour,’ set to commence on March 27, 2025, in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The announcement was made in a unique manner, with a nostalgic nod to the classic film ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ a stunt that featured Green alongside his opening acts in a humorous video homage.
This announcement follows the release of Green’s upcoming album, ‘Don’t Mind If I Do,’ which is expected to debut on October 18. The album is described by Green as a “throwback” to the era of country music he grew up with, inspired by his grandfather’s favorite songs. “I learned to play guitar to my granddaddy’s favorite country songs from back in the day,” Green said. “The new album is a throwback to the era when I first became a fan.”
Joining Green on the tour is Ella Langley, with whom he collaborates on the album’s title track. Langley will perform as one of the opening acts throughout the tour. Other artists joining the tour include Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin, and Drake White among others.
The tour is produced by Live Nation, and tickets are set to go on general sale this Friday, September 27. A variety of VIP packages will be available, offering fans amenities such as meet-and-greet opportunities, access to a VIP lounge, and specially designed gift items.
Green’s music is characterized by its relatable lyrics and traditional country feel, which resonates with fans. He first gained widespread recognition with his 2018 self-titled EP released by Big Machine Label Group, which featured hits such as his platinum-certified single ‘I Wish Grandpas Never Died.’
Besides his music ventures, Green has been a notable presence in the country music scene, having toured with artists like Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, drawing crowds of up to 65,000 fans a night. The ‘Damn Country Music Tour’ will cover a wide range of locations, including major cities across Canada and the United States, and is expected to announce more dates in the future.
