Riot Games Arcane Season Two Updates

Arcane‘s second season is on the horizon, and Riot Games has plans to introduce various special in-game content across its titles to coincide with the release. Popular games such as “League of Legends,” “Wild Rift,” “Teamfight Tactics,” and “VALORANT” are all set to receive themed updates and cosmetics aligned with the much-anticipated show’s new season.

Arcane Season Two is set to premiere on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. According to Riot Games, corresponding updates are expected to be released on the same day or shortly thereafter. “It’s all going to start rolling out as we get closer to the premiere on November 9th,” stated Christian Linke, co-creator of Arcane, in official Riot Games communications.

Individual game updates may have different release dates and times. The “Heimerdinger” updates, for instance, have already been integrated into the ARAM mode, whereas some “Teamfight Tactics” updates are not scheduled for release until the following month.

In “League of Legends,” a new Arcane Brawler Vi skin will be available, along with several other Arcane-themed skins and a new Exalted skin tier featuring Jinx. Players will also have access to a new Jinx Nexus Finisher and can engage with minigames connecting to Arcane’s storyline. Additionally, Ambessa, the first champion introduced in the Arcane TV series, will join the in-game roster.

“Wild Rift” will feature updates for champions Warwick and Singed, with Warwick potentially making an appearance in the Arcane series itself. The developers have already implemented changes to Heimerdinger as of October 16th, 2024. The updates boast “story-driven” minigames, a new Arcane-themed Showdown mode featuring quests, new items, and mechanics. Players can also experience gameplay at the Bridge of Progress, a significant Arcane location, with hints of new, yet unspecified, gameplay opportunities.

“VALORANT” is set to introduce another Arcane bundle to celebrate Season Two. This bundle, while featuring new items, will not include the previously released Arcane Sheriff, maintaining its exclusivity.

In “Legends of Runeterra,” Ambessa will also be available in the Path of Champions, with Warwick joining the roster as well.

“Teamfight Tactics” will see new exclusive champions, cosmetics, and traits with the launch of Arcane Season Two. Powder, the younger version of Jinx, will become a playable character. The game will also introduce Chibi Caitlyn and return the popular Tocker’s Trials, which aids players new to Teamfight Tactics. Players can enjoy experimenting with Arcane-themed arenas and a new kind of cosmetic.

Furthermore, Jinx is a playable character in Riot Games’ upcoming fighting game, “2XKO,” which is currently unreleased but available for playtesting.

Beyond in-game content, Riot Games plans to roll out involving physical merchandise in collaboration with brands like Uniqlo, Black Milk, Funko, Tokidoki, and Fenty Beauty.
