Rob Lowe’s Easter Bunny Antics Leave Kids in Tears

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — Actor Rob Lowe attempted to spread Easter joy over the weekend but ended up causing quite a stir among children at an Easter celebration organized by his friend, Chris Pratt. In a video shared on Instagram by Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, the two actors collaborated in a comical Easter Bunny stunt that didn’t go as planned.
The video, uploaded on April 21, features Pratt assisting Lowe in donning a full Easter Bunny costume, complete with a large bunny head and festive outfit. “This is a sight,” Schwarzenegger Pratt exclaimed as she filmed the scene. However, once Lowe transformed into the Bunny and ventured outdoors, the reaction from the kids was less than enthusiastic.
As Lowe bounced around, seemingly trying to entertain, the sounds of children crying and screaming echoed in the background. It quickly became apparent that while Lowe is beloved for his roles in shows like “Parks and Recreation” and “The West Wing,” the same charm did not resonate with the younger crowd.
In an effort to salvage the situation, Lowe promptly turned his Easter basket upside down, dumping out a colorful assortment of plastic eggs onto the grass. After a brief wave and playful kiss to the camera, he hopped away, leaving behind a flurry of discontented children. A voice in the background remarked, “He’s going to be sweating. For sure,” while another echoed the general sentiment of disappointment.
Later, Lowe joined adults at the breakfast table, puffing from his impromptu performance. “I just hopped on over when I heard he was here,” he declared, joking about his brief escapade. Despite the pandemonium, Pratt teased him, saying, “Oh, you missed him!”
Pratt and Schwarzenegger Pratt are parents to three children: Lyla Maria, 4; Eloise Christina, almost 3; and Ford Fitzgerald, 5 months. Pratt also has a 14-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to actress Anna Faris. Lowe has two sons, Matthew and John Owen, with his wife Sheryl Berkoff. John Owen humorously commented on his father’s antics, saying, “This is the only acting job [Lowe] can get these days.”
The Easter spectacle showcases trying to find joy and laughter within family festivities, though not without its challenges. This story has sparked a wave of amusement among fans, who took to the comments on the Instagram post to share their thoughts, commending Lowe for being a good sport and expressing their disbelief that such antics are real life and not just fiction. As the Easter Bunny saga unfolded, it serves as a reminder that humor, even if unintentional, can be found in the most unexpected moments.
