Robert De Niro With Daughter Gia

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro opened up about the simple joys of fatherhood during a recent episode of his show, highlighting the special bond he shares with his two-year-old daughter, Gia.

De Niro, 81, spoke to host Andy Cohen, revealing that he enjoys watching children’s television shows with Gia. Among their favorites are “Ms. Rachel,” “The Wiggles,” and “Blippi.” In fact, the actor mentioned that they had just watched an episode of “Ms. Rachel” that morning. “The Wiggles are sort of cheap,” he remarked. “But ‘Ms. Rachel,’ we started with it and still stay with it.”

The iconic actor added that Gia is becoming more selective in her viewing choices due to the number of times she has watched her favorite shows. “We’re waiting for new episodes and new skits and new music things that they do,” he said.

In a previous visit with People magazine, De Niro expressed his deep affection for Gia, calling her “such an adorable baby” and stating that when he looks at her, “everything else goes away.” He described spending time with her as a “great joy and relief to just be with her in the moment.”

Gia is the youngest of De Niro’s seven children. He shares two adult children with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott and two sons with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith. Additionally, he has two children with his former wife, Grace Hightower, whom he divorced in 2018.
