Rolling Loud Hip Hop Comedy Film Cast

ATLANTA, Ga. – The upcoming R-rated hip-hop comedy film ‘Rolling Loud‘ has added several notable artists to its cast, including Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and others. The movie, featuring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife as a father-son duo, is currently in production in Atlanta.

According to reports, the film explores the chaotic adventure of a father making questionable parenting choices by attempting to sneak his 13-year-old son into a large music festival. The official synopsis describes the journey filled with crowds, security issues, and eccentric companions, promising plenty of comedic moments.

“A father makes a bad parenting choice by taking his young son to [the festival], leading to chaos as they navigate crowds, security, and family dynamics with eccentric companions,” the synopsis reads.

In addition to Wilson and Rife, the film will also feature an appearance by Henry Winkler, adding to the star-studded cast. The script is penned by Jeremy Garelick, who also serves as the director and producer of the project. Garelick is the CEO of American High, the production company behind the film.

Sexyy Red’s involvement in the film seems to be a natural fit. The rapper gained notoriety after a viral moment at last year’s Rolling Loud Miami, where she captured Wilson’s attention during her performance of her hit song with Tyler, The Creator, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne. In response to the clip circulating on social media, she expressed affection for the actor, saying, “Dats my baby Owen,” accompanied by two kissing emojis.

In addition to their film roles, both Sexyy Red and Ski Mask the Slump God are scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud California. This event will take place on March 15 and 16 at Hollywood Park, featuring headliners such as A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Peso Pluma.

As fans eagerly await both the film and the concert, it’s clear that the world of hip-hop continues to intertwine with mainstream media in exciting ways.
