Roman Reigns Faces Bronson Reed in Epic Australian Street Fight
Perth, Australia – WWE’s seventh annual Crown Jewel event will feature a dramatic showdown as Roman Reigns takes on Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight on Saturday, Oct. 11. This highly anticipated match is set to begin at 8 a.m. ET from the RAC Arena.
The rivalry between Reigns and Reed intensified following their altercations at previous events, including a brutal encounter at Clash in Paris. Reed has claimed victory over Reigns on two occasions and notably took his sneakers, earning the nickname ‘The Tribal Thief.’ Reigns, however, managed to defeat Reed in their last match, but not without paying the price, suffering an attack from Reed and Bron Breakker afterward.
After a brief injury hiatus, Reigns made a dramatic return to Monday Night Raw, where he assisted The Usos in defeating Reed and Breakker in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Now, the stakes have never been higher for the two men as Reed prepares to battle in front of his home crowd.
The match is being billed as “pure chaos” with expectations of tables, chairs, and high-impact maneuvers filling the arena. Analysts like Bill Sparks predict it will be a brutal statement match, while other commentators see it as a crucial point in Reed’s career.
Alongside the main event, Crown Jewel will showcase other exciting matches. WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins for the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, while the Women’s division will see Tiffany Stratton compete against Stephanie Vaquer for championship accolades. Iconic rivals John Cena and AJ Styles are also set to face each other in what could be one of their last encounters.
The wrestlers have promised a showcase of talent and entertainment, as fans from around the world tune in live through the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix elsewhere. With a combination of returning heroes and intense rivalries, this year’s Crown Jewel is poised to make history.
