Roman Reigns Set for WarGames Match at Survivor Series

SAN DIEGO, California — Roman Reigns is expected to compete in a WarGames match at the Survivor Series, scheduled for November 29. This news comes ahead of his match this Saturday, October 11, against Bronson Reed at the Crown Jewel event.
Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer reported that WWE has plans for Reigns to participate in the faction warfare match instead of a one-on-one bout. Meltzer stated, “I think Roman’s definitely doing the San Diego show, but he’s not in a singles match in San Diego; he’s in the WarGames.”
Reigns’ potential match at Survivor Series sets the stage for a climactic showdown in his ongoing feud with Seth Rollins and The Vision faction. This rivalry intensified after Rollins’ betrayal during WrestleMania 41 when Paul Heyman sided with Rollins, marking a pivotal moment in the storyline.
In July, Reigns returned to save CM Punk and Jey Uso, which led to a tag team victory over Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam. The latest developments suggest that the WarGames match could offer a resolution to the ongoing tensions between Reigns’ team and Rollins’ group.
Before entering WarGames, Reigns will face Reed in an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel. This match is a rematch following a victory at Clash in Paris. The results of these matches will shape the dynamics as both Reigns and Rollins prepare for future events, including the Royal Rumble.
Meltzer also hinted that a significant singles match between Reigns and Rollins may be scheduled for WrestleMania in 2026, pursuing the rich history and rivalry both wrestlers share.
As fans wait for these showdowns, excitement builds for Survivor Series, which promises to deliver intense action and drama.
