Ruslaan and Rathnam Box Office Collection Day 1: Ayesha Sharma’s Ruslaan Falls Behind South’s Rathanam in Opening Day Earnings
Ruslaan and Rathnam, two significant Bollywood and South Indian film releases respectively, hit the big screens on April 26th. In the entertainment industry, Ayesha Sharma’s Ruslaan drew attention as it features Salman Khan‘s nephew in a leading role.
Unfortunately, Ruslaan’s first-day box office collections fell short of expectations, amassing just 50 lakhs in earnings. In comparison, the South Indian film Rathnam outshone Ruslaan with an impressive opening of 2.3 crores, showcasing the dominance of South cinema at the box office.
The initial figures from Box Office tracker Sycinique reveal that Ayesha Sharma’s Ruslaan garnered an opening day income of 60 lakhs in India and around 1 crore globally. The budget for the film is estimated to be 25 crores, directed by Karan Butani and starring Sushri Mishra, Vidya Malavade, and Jagapati Babu.
On the other hand, Vishal‘s Rathnam secured a noteworthy 2.3 crores on its debut day, reaching up to 3 crores in worldwide collections. The film, helmed by Hari, features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautam, Yogi Babu, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles. Vishal’s Mark Antony has previously seen success at the box office, adding to the anticipation surrounding Rathnam’s performance.
