Sabrina Carpenter Los Angeles Concert

Los Angeles, CA — Sabrina Carpenter reached a playful milestone on Saturday night during her fifth performance of the Short n’ Sweet Tour at the Crypto.com Arena. The show marked her 69th concert of the tour, prompting enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

“My friends wanted me to inform you: This is our 69th show,” Carpenter said while seated on her heart-shaped stage. The nod to the number was fitting for the tour, which has featured cheeky moments since it kicked off in September 2024.

Throughout the tour, Carpenter has incorporated suggestive themes, including playful discussions about “Juno” sex positions and a voyeuristic “Bed Chem” video camera. She joked with the crowd, saying, “I bet the thermostat’s set at six-nine.”

As she celebrated the 69th show, Carpenter expressed excitement: “We knew we’d get there eventually, and tonight’s the night. And it’s Saturday, and we’re just like, we’re living!”

In a fitting finale, Carpenter returned for her last song, “Espresso,” dressed in sparkly blue go-go boots and an oversized Los Angeles Dodgers jersey featuring her last name and the number 69.

Another lighthearted tradition unfolded when Carpenter playfully called out actress Maya Rudolph from the audience, saying, “Maya, you’re stunning. Where are you from?” After Rudolph responded, Carpenter encouraged the crowd to cheer louder for her.

“Maya, I don’t know the situation you’re in currently romantically, but I was sort of hoping that I could lock you down tonight, if possible,” Carpenter quipped, tossing fuzzy pink handcuffs into the audience.

Carpenter is scheduled to return to Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (Nov. 23) for the sixth night in Los Angeles, drawing the tour to a close after 70 shows.
