Salvatore Ganacci Drops Epic Music Video for Fatal Fury Anime

LOS ANGELES, April 17, 2025 — SNK has released an exhilarating music video for their upcoming fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, featuring renowned DJ Salvatore Ganacci. The video, which showcases Ganacci’s remix of popular Fatal Fury music titled “Terry, Andy, Joe,” is complemented by stunning animation from legendary animator Masami Obari.
Scheduled for release on April 24, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this new entry in the Fatal Fury franchise combines innovative gameplay mechanics with an artistic vision that celebrates over 30 years of the beloved series.
Ganacci’s remix, paired with Obari’s dynamic visuals, sets the stage as characters like Terry Bogard engage in epic battles against rivals such as Geese Howard. Obari, known for his work on titles like Gundam Breaker Battlogue, served as the creative producer, director, and key animation director for the project.
The animation production was handled by STUDIO G-INEO, with notable contributions from Yusuke Takeda as the background art director and Nanako Okazaki as the color designer. The collaboration aims to breathe new life into the franchise, promising players an immersive experience through a unique art style and advanced gameplay systems that include a revolutionary REV System.
Gamers can look forward to a choice of two distinct control schemes, catering to both newcomers and seasoned players. “We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience,” said an SNK spokesperson.
With the impending launch of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, excitement continues to build in the gaming community. As one of the series’ first new installments since 1999’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves, this title aims to resonate with long-time fans while attracting a new generation.
“We’re looking to capture the essence of what has made Fatal Fury a staple in fighting games, while also innovating to keep it fresh,” said Ganacci. “This project is a dream collaboration that merges music and animation in a truly unique way.”
