SanLucar and VfB Stuttgart Launch Charitable Campaign Featuring Premium Fruits
In a renewed collaboration, VfB Stuttgart players Maximilian Mittelstädt, Enzo Millot, and Josha Vagnoman have joined forces with SanLucar, a prominent fresh produce marketer, to support a charitable initiative in Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany.
The partnership follows a successful campaign launched at the beginning of 2024, which managed to raise €25,000 for various social causes. Now, the two organizations are set to introduce a new line of branded fresh produce featuring stickers adorned with the VfB Stuttgart mascot, VfB Fritzle.
These products are strategically timed to be available during VfB Stuttgart’s Champions League fixtures, which include high-profile matches against Sparta Prague, Juventus, and Atalanta.
The focal point of this campaign is SanLucar’s premium assortment, which includes products such as blueberries, mandarins, oranges, lemons, grapes, plums, mangoes, avocados, and fresh-cut produce. SanLucar has pledged to contribute 10 percent of the revenue from these sales to charities operating in Germany and South Africa.
“Doing good is simply fun,” remarked Armin Rehberg, CEO of SanLucar. He continued, “Our latest joint campaign demonstrated substantial interest in supporting social projects while promoting healthy eating habits.”
Rehberg further commented, “By combining our efforts with a reputable club like VfB Stuttgart, we ensure a successful initiative driven by passion. This approach benefits everyone involved.”
During the campaign weeks, the initiative will be highlighted with attractive secondary placement displays in participating markets, integrating SanLucar’s comprehensive commitment to social responsibility both at an international and local level.
