Sasha Farber Exits DWTS Season 34, Sparks Fan Confusion

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” were surprised to learn that pro dancer Sasha Farber will not be part of the Season 34 cast. This absence marks a significant shift for Farber, who has been a fixture on the show since 2012.
Farber initially joined the dance competition as a troupe member in Seasons 14, 15, and 16. He was promoted to a professional dancer in Season 17, partnering with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. After a brief return to the troupe for four seasons, he returned to the main cast in Season 22, participating in every season except for Season 25.
The announcement of his departure comes as a shock to many fans who have grown accustomed to seeing him perform each season. Some fans took to social media expressing their disappointment and confusion. “How can they have a season without Sasha?” one fan tweeted. “He’s been such a big part of the show!”
In a recent post, fellow DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy addressed the situation, saying that Farber is taking on other projects this season. Details have emerged about a new job for Farber on another ABC television series, but specifics remain unclear.
The absence of Farber creates a sense of uncertainty as viewers look forward to the new season, which includes a mix of celebrity contestants. As the dance floor prepares to light up for Season 34, fans will surely miss the energy and talent that Farber has brought to the show.
“Dancing With the Stars” is set to premiere on October 12, 2025, without one of its long-time favorites.
