Wheel Of Fortune Changing Wedges

LOS ANGELES, CA — Wheel of Fortune revealed a behind-the-scenes secret about how the wedges on the game show’s wheel are changed. Fans expressed excitement, calling it the ‘coolest job ever’ and encouraged more similar content. The video’s caption, posted on November 4, read, ‘Please like this video so our wedge guy sees why we followed him around for the day #wheeloffortune #gameshow.’

In the clip, a crew member demonstrated the process, replacing the Express Wedge on the wheel. He illuminated the wedge with a button, then positioned the Wild Card on a $500 spot, followed by a trip wedge. The final wedge he laid down was the combined Bankrupt/One Million Wedge. As he did this, he smoothed each wedge while leaning over the contestant podium.

Fans reacted positively in the comments section, saying, ‘So this is what changing the wedges looks like. We need more Wheel of Fortune content like this, please!’ Another user chimed in, ‘Love it! We need more behind the scenes!! 😄’ Users also joked about the wedge guy’s job, with one saying, ‘No offense to the wedge guy, but is he retiring? I think I found my dream job.’

When asked what other behind-the-scenes glimpses they wanted to see, fans mentioned the storage of the wedges and the set decoration. Wheel of Fortune airs weekdays; check local listings or stream the next day on Hulu and Peacock.
