"school Spirits Season 2 Cast And Trailer"

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The highly anticipated second season of “School Spirits” is set to premiere on Thursday, Jan. 30, with the first three episodes dropping on Paramount+. The supernatural drama, which left fans on a cliffhanger in its first season, continues to follow Maddie Nears (Peyton List), a high school student trapped in the afterlife, as she seeks to uncover the mystery of her missing body.

The new season picks up after Maddie discovers that Janet (Jess Gabor), another ghost presumed to have moved on, has stolen her body. Maddie must now convince her living friend Simon (Kristian Ventura) to help her retrieve it. The show also explores the growing connection between Maddie and Wally (Milo Manheim), another ghost who shares her predicament.

“I thought my life was over,” Maddie says in the trailer. “Stuck between the real world and the afterlife. But the real question is, am I even dead?”

The eight-episode season will release new episodes weekly on Thursdays. The series, produced by Awesomeness TV, is executive produced by creators Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud. The cast also includes Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Josh Zuckerman, and Milo Manheim.

In addition to the returning cast, new faces joining the show include Zack Calderon as Diego Herrera, Miles Elliot as Yuri, and Ci Hang Ma as Quinn. The season promises to delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding Mr. Martin (Josh Zuckerman), the ghostly teacher who oversees the student support group, as his suspicious behavior raises questions about his involvement in Janet’s death.

“Don’t pursue this!” Mr. Martin warns in the trailer, hinting at darker secrets yet to be uncovered.

Fans of the show can expect more twists, emotional moments, and the evolving relationship between Maddie and Wally. “Another great memory I have is when Peyton and I were filming our kiss scene,” Manheim told Entertainment Weekly. “I want to see Wally’s life before he died. I want to see his girlfriend, Debbie Gibson, who he mentioned in episode 2.”

“School Spirits” Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on Jan. 30, with new episodes releasing weekly.
