Sean Connery Bond Villa Nice France

Nice, France – A French Riviera estate once owned by the late Sean Connery, the iconic actor known for portraying James Bond, is back on the market with an asking price of approximately $26.4 million. The brokerage Savills announced the listing this week.

The property, known locally as the “Bond Villa,” is officially named Villa Roc Fleuri. It is situated on a terraced hillside in Nice, offering stunning views of the port and Cap d’Antibes. According to Chuck McKee, a representative from Savills, Connery resided in this Art Deco residence during the 1970s and ’80s.

Villa Roc Fleuri, built in 1930, spans more than 10,000 square feet and boasts original architectural details such as mosaic inlays, ceiling moldings, and wrought-iron banisters. The layout includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms, with a top-floor primary suite featuring two en-suite bathrooms and access to panoramic terraces.

Outdoor amenities include a rooftop entertaining deck with a built-in barbecue, manicured lawns, and pathways leading down to a rocky shoreline. “It feels like it’s overflowing into the sea,” McKee remarked regarding the villa’s indoor/outdoor heated infinity pool, which offers dramatic sea views.

In addition to the main villa, the estate features a separate caretaker’s residence and a guesthouse divided into two apartments. The current owners, who purchased the property in 2015, completed an extensive renovation that upgraded the heating and cooling systems and redesigned the landscaping.

Previously listed in late 2020 for around $33.8 million, the villa is now available for a significantly lower price. Connery, who passed away in 2020, also owned another property in the region called Domaine de Terre Blanche, which he bought in 1979 and later sold to billionaire Dietmar Hopp. This property has since been transformed into a luxury resort.
