Shah Rukh Khan Apologizes for Interrupting Live Show During KKR’s IPL 2024 Victory Lap
Kolkata Knight Riders showcased a brilliant performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, securing their spot in the IPL 2024 final with a comprehensive win.
The bowlers played a pivotal role in KKR’s victory, restricting Sunrisers Hyderabad to a modest total of 159 runs. Subsequently, Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer steered KKR to victory with an unbeaten 97-run partnership.
Following their triumph, KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, along with his daughter Suhana and son AbRam, embarked on a celebratory lap around the stadium, inadvertently interrupting a live broadcast by JioCinema.
Shah Rukh Khan promptly extended apologies to the hosts of the live show, former Indian cricketers Aakash Chopra, Parthiv Patel, and Suresh Raina. After a brief interruption, Shah Rukh resumed the lap around the venue, with his daughter Suhana and son AbRam by his side.
The former cricketer, Aakash Chopra, fondly reminisced his time with KKR and praised Shah Rukh Khan’s sportsmanship and supportiveness during his association with the team.
KKR now awaits the winner of Qualifier 2 to challenge them in the final at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on May 26. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad will contest in Qualifier 2 for another opportunity to secure a place in the final.
