Shakira Concert Fenway Park

BOSTON, Mass. — Shakira‘s concert at Fenway Park was canceled Thursday, just hours before she was scheduled to perform.

The cancellation came alongside the news that another concert featuring Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn, set for Friday, has also been called off. Live Nation issued a statement saying, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Shakira and Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn performances originally scheduled for May 29th and May 30th respectively at Fenway Park have been canceled. Refunds will be available at your point of purchase. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Details about the specific circumstances leading to the cancellations were not immediately provided. Fans who were looking forward to seeing Shakira perform were left disappointed.

This concert was set to be the opener of her highly anticipated tour. Shakira had previously discussed her preparations for this tour on Access Hollywood during the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet.

As more updates on the situation become available, fans are encouraged to stay informed through local news channels.
