Shakira Concert Performance In Mexico

MEXICO CITY, Mexico — Colombian superstar Shakira continues to break records in Mexico, announcing Wednesday four additional concerts as part of her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ world tour, set to take place in August and September 2025. The news, confirmed by OCESA, follows her successful run of 11 shows in the country, including a record-breaking seven consecutive nights at the Estadio GNP Seguros.

Shakira’s additional date at the Estadio GNP Seguros is scheduled for August 29, with other performances set for September 2 in Querétaro at the Estadio Corregidora, September 6 in Guadalajara at the Estadio Akron, and September 12 in Puebla at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc. ’11 dates are not enough, the wolf will return with 4 more dates in August and September,’ OCESA stated.

The pre-sale for Citibanamex cardholders begins on March 28, while general ticket sales will commence the following day, March 29. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster for the Mexico City and Guadalajara shows, and through Eticket for the Querétaro and Puebla performances, according to the promoter.

Shakira has already drawn a crowd of 455,000 fans throughout her initial seven-night residency at the Estadio GNP Seguros, making history as the first artist to achieve such a feat in the venue. She expressed her gratitude to her audience, saying, ‘These are more than just concerts; they are very deep encounters, where healing happens.’

During her fourth performance on March 25, she surprised fans by sharing the stage with special guests, including Grupo Frontera for her song ‘(Entre paréntesis)’ and her children’s nanny, Lili Melgar, during a duet of ‘El jefe.’

Reflecting on her tour, which began on February 11 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Shakira highlighted its intimate nature, stating, ‘With each concert, I feel stronger and happier.’ She noted that this engagement brings something more profound to her, emphasizing a shared healing experience with her audience.

With the addition of these new dates, Shakira will have performed a total of 15 concerts in Mexico. Fans have already shown immense enthusiasm for the announcement, with Shakira noting, ‘Mexico, we are still making history together.’ More surprises are expected in the upcoming U.S. leg of the tour beginning May 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
