Shayne Ward Gets Ready to Shine on Strictly Come Dancing

Exciting news for fans of dance and reality TV! Shayne Ward, the popular singer and actor, is gearing up to join the cast of Strictly Come Dancing in autumn 2024. Shayne is the eighth contestant to be confirmed for the new series, and he’s ready to dazzle audiences with his dancing skills.

Additionally, he’s known for his role as Aidan Connor on ITV’s Coronation Street, where he won awards for his performances. Shayne has even taken the stage in musicals like Rock of Ages and is now leading a crime-drama series called The Good Ship Murder.

Joining him on this exciting journey will be Sarah Hadland, known for her role in the hit comedy series Miranda. They both revealed the news on ITV’s Lorraine. Shayne mentioned that he’s always felt a bit nervous about joining Strictly, thinking he might not be “good enough,” but encouragement from his partner helped him realize that now is the right time.

In a fun twist, Shayne also noted that his two kids are “super excited” to see him dance. As for the recent controversies surrounding the show, Shayne stated he hasn’t seen much about it and is just focused on enjoying the experience.

Strictly Come Dancing will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, promising even more glitz and glamour to fans.
