NEW YORK — Spotify has released its list of the Top 10 most streamed love songs of all time, with British artists dominating the rankings. Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” claimed the top spot, solidifying its place as a modern classic in romantic music.

Sheeran’s 2017 ballad, written for his wife Cherry Seaborn, has become a staple at weddings worldwide. “Around 70% of our couples have chosen the song to be featured in some part of their wedding playlist,” a wedding planner told The Post. Sheeran, a four-time Grammy winner, also appeared on the list with “Photograph” (No. 5) and “Thinking Out Loud” (No. 7).

James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” landed in second place. The 2016 ballad, which Arthur described as a reflection of “being with a soulmate,” resonated with listeners for its heartfelt lyrics. New York couple Stephen and Alana Colletti chose the song for their wedding after it became “their song” following a blind date mishap.

The list also featured “I Wanna Be Yours” by Arctic Monkeys (No. 3) and Coldplay’s “Yellow” (No. 4), penned by Chris Martin in just 10 minutes. The 2000 track remains Coldplay’s most streamed song on Spotify, with over 2.8 billion streams.

Rounding out the Top 10 were “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron (No. 6), “Die For You” by The Weeknd (No. 8), John Legend’s “All of Me” (No. 9), and Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” (No. 10). The rankings highlight the enduring appeal of British artists in crafting timeless love songs.
