Shehnaaz Gill Stars in Recreated ‘Sajna Ve Sajna’ Song
The recently released song, “Sajna Ve Sajna,” from the upcoming film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” is receiving significant attention. Featuring Shehnaaz Gill alongside Rajkummar Rao, the song is a revamped version of the iconic track from the 2003 film “Chameli.”
The music video highlights Shehnaaz Gill in a striking blue ensemble, showcasing her dance moves to the lively beat of the song. Her performance has been noted for its charisma and energy, captivating fans and garnering widespread admiration. Rajkummar Rao joins in, enhancing the visual appeal of the sequence with his energetic presence.
The song’s new version was developed by White Noise Collectives with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. Vocals are provided by Sunidhi Chauhan and Divya Kumar. Shehnaaz promoted the song on Instagram, sharing a teaser with the caption, “Le teri ho gayi yaar… sajna ve sajna,” reflecting the song’s catchy hook.
“Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” directed and written by Raaj Shaandilyaa, presents a romantic comedy with a quirky 90s backdrop. The storyline revolves around a couple, portrayed by Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao, entangled in a comedic journey following the loss of a personal CD. Adding to the starcast are notable actors like Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, and Vijay Raaz.
Produced by T-Series and associated partners, the film is set to release on October 11. On the same date, it will compete with “Jigra,” starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina. Shehnaaz Gill’s recent appearance was in “Thank You for Coming,” directed by Karan Boolani.
