LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Shemar Moore, star of the hit TV series “S.W.A.T.,” and model Jesiree Dizon have ended their romantic relationship but remain committed to co-parenting their 2-year-old daughter, Frankie Melelina Kapule Moore, sources close to the couple confirmed.

The former couple, who first dated in 2008 and rekindled their relationship in 2020, announced their split recently. Despite the breakup, they have maintained a cordial relationship and are focused on providing a stable and loving environment for their daughter. “They are loving friends and co-parents and always will be,” a source told PEOPLE.

Moore, 54, and Dizon, 41, welcomed Frankie in January 2023. The couple often shared glimpses of their family life on social media, showcasing their bond with Frankie and Dizon’s two other children, Charli and Kaiden, from previous relationships.

In a November 2024 interview, Moore hinted at his reluctance to marry, citing a lack of positive role models for marriage in his life. “I didn’t have a good role model of marriage in my life. Not my mother, not my father. Nobody close to me,” he said. “To me, it’s just like tomorrow’s not guaranteed, but Jesiree, I’ll give you everything I got today and tomorrow.”

Moore has frequently expressed his gratitude for Dizon and their daughter, crediting Frankie with giving him a renewed sense of purpose. “[Frankie] is the reason I’m so damn happy, and my girl Jesiree. That’s my little baby girl. That’s my miracle,” he said during a January 2024 appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Despite their separation, the couple continues to prioritize their daughter’s well-being. “Both Shemar and Jesiree are determined to give young Frankie the happiest and healthiest life possible,” a source told TMZ.

Moore and Dizon’s relationship has been marked by ups and downs, including a previous split in 2008 when Moore was not ready to settle down. They reunited in 2020 after the death of Moore’s mother, Marilyn, and welcomed Frankie three years later.

As they navigate their new dynamic, the former couple remains focused on their shared goal of raising Frankie in a loving and supportive environment.
