Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon Announce Split, Vow to Co-Parent

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Actor Shemar Moore and model Jesiree Dizon have confirmed their separation after five years together, emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting their two-year-old daughter, Frankie. The former couple, who rekindled their relationship in 2020 after briefly dating in 2008, announced the split in separate social media statements.

Moore, 54, addressed the breakup in an Instagram video on Friday, January 31, urging fans to refrain from negativity. “When you hear our business on the internet or wherever, it’s our business,” the S.W.A.T. star said. “If you get in there with the comments and you start trashing and being negative, then you ain’t a fan of mine.”

Dizon, 41, shared her perspective in a heartfelt Instagram post on Saturday, February 1, alongside a photo of the couple with Frankie. “Although our reality has changed, what will ALWAYS remain is the love and respect Shemar and I both have for each other,” she wrote. “Our commitment is not only to keep our love for each other alive and strong through the best friendship, but by also being the BEST co-parents in continuing to raise our daughter, Frankie.”

Dizon, who also has two other children, son Kaiden and daughter Charli, from previous relationships, expressed gratitude for the support she has received. “The amount of love and support during this difficult time has been nothing short of overwhelming,” she added. “We ask that you please continue to give us love and grace as we navigate our new reality and respect our privacy to allow us to heal.”

In his video, Moore praised Dizon as a “phenomenal mother” and “an amazing woman.” He also addressed critics directly, saying, “If you choose to get into all that negativity, kiss my ass.” The couple went Instagram official in January 2023, shortly before welcoming Frankie that same month.

Dizon concluded her post with a message to Moore, acknowledging their enduring bond. “Even though our romantic journey has ended, we are still stuck together FOR LIFE,” she wrote. “You are the most amazing daddy to Frankie… Still and will always be your best role yet. I will always love you.”
