Shogun’s Ninja Set for Global Release on March 28

LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2025 — Remow is set to launch the highly anticipated film “Shogun’s Ninja” on March 28, exclusively on the Samurai Vs Ninja YouTube channel for subscribers. Directed by celebrated filmmaker Koichi Sakamoto, known for his work on iconic franchises such as Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, the film is poised to captivate audiences with its dynamic storytelling and thrilling action.
Set during the turbulent 17th-century Edo period in Japan, “Shogun’s Ninja” follows sisters Kagaribi and Okyo, who are descendants of the fabled ‘Fuma’ ninja clan. The duo embarks on a perilous journey to restore their family’s honor after their friend Oran is kidnapped by the ruthless ‘Yagyu’ samurai. This dangerous mission leads them to confrontations that could potentially reshape the Shogunate.

The film was shot at the renowned Toei Kyoto Studio, which has hosted numerous notable productions, including Sakamoto’s previous works. The cast features Himena Yamada, known for her role in ‘Ultraman Blazer,’ alongside Kanon Miyahara from ‘Kamen Rider Gotchard.’ Both actresses bring their experience in martial arts and action to their roles.
Adding to the film’s action credibility are veteran suit actors Teruaki Ogawa and Seiji Takaiwa, who have collaborated with Sakamoto on various projects, showcasing a blend of established and contemporary action techniques.
“Shogun’s Ninja” promises to be a blend of traditional storytelling and modern filmmaking, appealing to both long-time fans of samurai cinema and newcomers alike.
