Silo Season 3 Filming Underway, Set for 2026 Release

LOS ANGELES, CA – Filming for the highly anticipated third season of the sci-fi series Silo is well underway, with producers hinting at exciting developments in the storyline. The show, which airs on Apple TV+, is based on Hugh Howey’s popular novels and continues to captivate audiences with its mysterious plot.
The climax of Season 2 left fans in suspense, as major characters faced life-threatening situations. Showrunner Graham Yost teased viewers about the upcoming season, assuring that characters will venture outdoors and experience sunshine, a significant change from the underground setting of previous seasons.
“Yes, we will be outdoors, and we will be in the world,” Yost stated, indicating that Season 3 will diverge from the confines of the silo. Fans can expect to see new characters alongside returning favorites like Juliette, portrayed by Rebecca Ferguson.
Season 3 will introduce new lead actors, with prominent roles of Daniel and Helen portrayed by Ashley Zuckerman and Jessica Henwick, respectively. These new characters are expected to explore the origins of the silos and provide deeper context to the ongoing narrative.
While the release date for Season 3 is not confirmed, it is projected to premiere late in 2025 or early 2026, as filming for both Seasons 3 and 4 is planned back-to-back. Yost shared his gratitude for the creative collaboration, emphasizing the rich storytelling in adapting Howey’s novels.
“We can’t wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries,” Yost added. As post-production continues, the fanbase anticipates unraveling the fate of Juliette and her companions in the show.
