Skateboarders Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Albuquerque Skate Park
Skateboard enthusiasts of all ages braved the overcast skies and blustering winds on Sunday at the renowned North Domingo Baca Skate Park in Albuquerque. The occasion was the City of Albuquerque‘s St. Patrick’s Day Skate Jam, drawing a vibrant crowd of skaters eager to showcase their talents.
Amid the challenging weather conditions reminiscent of Irish climes, participants took turns executing impressive tricks off ramps and deftly maneuvering around obstacles such as traffic cones. The atmosphere was electric as skaters showcased their skills, demonstrating the dedication and passion that underpins the skating community.
Prizes were up for grabs during the event, with winners of trick competitions and long jump contests walking away with coveted items such as beanies and custom St. Patrick’s Day skateboards.
