Slow Horses Season 5

The popular espionage drama Slow Horses has been confirmed for a fifth season by Apple TV+. The new season is set to adapt ‘London Rules,’ the fifth novel in Mick Herron‘s Slough House series. This announcement comes as a relief to fans following the conclusion of the fourth season.

Filming for the upcoming season has already been completed, with the series known for its efficient production schedule. The first two seasons aired in 2022, while the third and fourth seasons premiered in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Given this pattern, a release in mid-2025 is anticipated, though some sources suggest it might arrive earlier, possibly in the spring.

An official synopsis has been released, hinting at the plotline where tech specialist Roddy Ho‘s new relationship stirs suspicion as bizarre incidents unfold across London. Meanwhile, the intelligence service faces mounting pressures, with new chief Claude Whelan battling both external threats and political intrigue at Regent’s Park.

The primary cast members are expected to return, including Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, and Jack Lowden as River Cartwright. However, some characters may not reappear, notably Kadiff Kirwan’s character Marcus Longridge, who met a grim fate in the previous season finale.

While no trailer has been released yet, Slow Horses seasons 1-4 are available for viewing on Apple TV+. Additional information and promotional content will be shared as they become available.
