Sneak Peek: Dawson Offers Mickey Support in Intense Sheriff Country Episode

HOLLYWOOD, CA — In the upcoming episode of CBS‘s Sheriff Country, aired on November 7, Mickey faces challenging situations as her love interest, Dawson, a DEA agent, steps into the picture. The sneak peek reveals Dawson’s determination to assist Mickey despite the risks involved.

In the clip, Mickey is alerted by an Unknown Caller while driving, leading her to stop. Dawson gets out of a car that has been following her. “I can’t do this right now,” she tells him, concerned for her daughter Skye, who is embroiled in a murder investigation.

Dawson wishes to help Mickey and check on Skye, mentioning the murder of Brandon, Skye’s boyfriend. “My daughter’s gonna spend the rest of her life in jail if I don’t find who killed Brandon. Want to ask me again?” Mickey responds firmly.

Dawson explains he can use his DEA contacts since Brandon was connected to drugs. “It would totally blow your cover,” Mickey retorts. “Let me worry about that,” he insists, showing his willingness to prioritize her needs.

Mickey points out Dawson’s sacrifices for the case, but he quickly corrects her. “Not everyone,” he says when she notes his isolation from family and friends. Despite his offers, Mickey is unwilling to accept help, leading to tension in their relationship.

Executive producers have hinted that Dawson and Mickey’s relationship will deepen as the season progresses, marking it as a central plot point.

This episode, titled “Out of Office,” further complicates Mickey’s life as Skye becomes the prime suspect in Brandon’s murder. Amid rising tensions and family loyalties, Mickey must clear her daughter’s name.
