Saturday Night Live Season 50 Finale Hosts And Musical Guests

NEW YORK, N.Y. — “Saturday Night Live” is set to conclude its historic 50th season this May with three back-to-back live episodes. Premiering on May 3, the show will feature the return of Quinta Brunson as host and Benson Boone making his SNL debut as the musical guest.

This season, which kicked off in September, has seen a star-studded lineup including Jack Black, Chris Rock, Lady Gaga, and Timothée Chalamet, who both hosted and performed as a musical guest. Noteworthy musical guests this season also included Lizzo, Hozier, and Billie Eilish.

While fans eagerly await new episodes, the show is airing reruns on April 26. The first episode features Pete Davidson hosting with Ice Spice as the musical guest, followed by Timothée Chalamet’s episode from January 25, where he performed several Bob Dylan songs.

Upcoming episodes will keep the buzz alive. On May 10, Walton Goggins, star of the “White Lotus,” will host his first episode, joined by musical guest Arcade Fire, whose new album releases the previous week. Then, on May 17, actress Scarlett Johansson will host the finale for the seventh time, bringing back reggaeton star Bad Bunny as the musical guest.

Each show will honor the legacy of SNL, which has remained a key player in comedy and television since its inception. Season 50’s final run promises to deliver laughs while showcasing a blend of both new and returning talent.

With a rich history and an impressive lineup, fans can anticipate a grand conclusion to a milestone season. “Saturday Night Live” continues to air on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturdays and is available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
