Colin Jost Ferry Comedy Sketch Saturday Night Live

NEW YORK, NY — Colin Jost made a surprising appearance on this weekend’s episode of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ promoting his joint venture with fellow comedian Pete Davidson. The sketch, which aired on May 3, 2025, featured Jost trying to sell a decommissioned ferry that he and Davidson previously discussed in 2022.

The sketch ended with Jost crashing a recurring scene in which Mikey Day plays a man involved in a traffic dispute with his daughter, portrayed by Chloe Fineman. As the pair exchanged humorous insults with host Quinta Brunson, Jost suddenly appeared at Fineman’s window.

“Hey! You said you love ferries? If you love ferries, would you like to buy one?” Jost yelled, eliciting laughs from the audience.

“Oh my god, is that Colin Jost?” Fineman responded, while Day cautioned, “Yeah, that’s Colin Jost. … Don’t make eye contact. Just look straight ahead.”

Adding to the chaos, Jost quipped, “Please buy it! Hey, I’m Pete Davidson. Hi!”

In March 2025, Jost and Davidson’s business partner, Ron Castellano, revealed that their team is progressing with plans for a $34 million project to transform the ferry into a floating entertainment complex. Castellano outlined that the ambitious venture could include bars, restaurants, and event spaces.

“This boat is almost 300 feet long and offers 65,000 square feet of space,” Castellano explained. “Right now, we have six bars and two venues, which can operate separately or together.”

The proposal showcases Jost and Davidson’s unique blend of comedy and entrepreneurship as they aim to create a fun atmosphere on the water.
