NC State’s top-ranked defense initially posed a challenge to South Carolina, with players like Te-Hina Paopao, Bree Hall, and MiLaysia Fulwiley struggling to find their rhythm. However, the standout performance of Kamilla Cardoso, towering at 6 feet 7 inches, turned the tide in favor of the Gamecocks.
