Spar Transform: A One-Day Retailer Event to Empower Independent Retailers
James Hall & Co. Ltd, a fifth-generation family business serving independent SPAR retailers and company-owned Spar stores in Northern England, is set to host a brand-new one-day retailer event in April called Spar Transform. This transformative event will take place on Thursday, April 18th at the Harrogate Convention Centre, and aims to bring together current and prospective Spar independents from across the North of England.
Spar Transform is an expansion of the company’s annual independent retailer business update. The event will feature keynote speakers including Dominic Hall, joint managing director of James Hall & Co. Ltd, and Tobias Wasmuht, managing director of Spar International. Topics covered will include company innovations, customer loyalty, retail technology, community initiatives, and more.
The event also aims to showcase personal accounts from independent retailers sharing how the Spar brand and support from James Hall & Co. Ltd has transformed their businesses. With over 40 suppliers in attendance, including international brands, retailers will have the opportunity to engage and network with them.
Breakout sessions focusing on specific subject areas will be hosted by renowned brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Carlsberg, and Walkers. These sessions will offer valuable insights and knowledge to retailers looking to enhance their businesses.
During the event, James Hall & Co. Ltd will present their own brands through pop-up concepts like the Cheeky Coffee Lounge. SPAR own brand products will also be highlighted, featuring concepts like the Spar wine bar.
Spar Transform is not just limited to independent retailers, as Area Managers and Store Managers from James Hall & Co. Ltd’s G&E Murgatroyd company-owned stores division will also be in attendance. This will provide an opportunity for networking and sharing of best practices.
The action-packed day agenda will conclude with an informal social evening of food, drinks, and entertainment, allowing retailers to unwind and build relationships.
