Star-Studded Hosts Set for New Year’s Eve Celebration
NEW YORK, NY — An exciting lineup of co-hosts will come together for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026.” The event, set to air live on December 31, promises an unforgettable celebration welcoming the new year from multiple locations.
Ryan Seacrest and singer Rita Ora will once again lead the festivities from Times Square in New York City. This marks Seacrest’s 21st year hosting the iconic event since taking over from the legendary Dick Clark.
Chance the Rapper will join the celebration from Chicago, marking a special hometown appearance. He will help ring in the new year during the Central Time Zone countdown, which is for the first time in the show’s 50-year tradition.
From Las Vegas, NFL star Rob Gronkowski will co-host alongside Julianne Hough, who is making her debut as a co-host for this New Year’s Eve special. Seacrest’s production team promises to reveal details about an upcoming co-host from Puerto Rico soon.
The show has a history of featuring spectacular performances from top artists. Previous years have included appearances by Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz, and the Jonas Brothers. Last year, Carrie Underwood capped off the night with a stunning performance that attracted over 29 million viewers at midnight, according to Nielsen.
