A star-studded evening unfolded as Bollywood personalities gathered for the exclusive screening of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao‘s upcoming film ‘Laapataa Ladies’. ‘Laapataa Ladies’, directed by Kiran Rao, has been selected as the opening film for the impending IFFM Summer Festival, heightening anticipation among cinema enthusiasts. The film is slated for its Australian premiere on 29th February, followed by a theatrical release on 1st March 2024.
The recently unveiled track ‘Beda Paar’ from the film has garnered attention with its rural-themed wedding farewell setting. With vocals by Sona Mohapatra and music by Ram Sampath, the song encapsulates vintage vibes that resonate with the essence of the movie.
Produced under Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, ‘Laapataa Ladies’ promises a riveting narrative set in rural India in 2001, revolving around the intriguing tale of two young brides separated during a train journey. The film delves into the unfolding mystery as Kishan, a determined police officer, embarks on a quest to unravel the case.
