Oscars 2025 Rehearsal Behind The Scenes

LOS ANGELES (AP) — With the Oscars set to commence tomorrow, a star-studded lineup gathered for rehearsals at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Saturday. Among those fine-tuning their performances were Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, and Oprah Winfrey as they prepared for Hollywood’s biggest night.

The 97th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 2, and many stars were spotted in casual attire as they practiced their lines. Sterling K. Brown, 48, and Ana de Armas, 36, shared a moment on stage, linking arms while practicing for the Live Action Short category, prompting Brown to cheerfully declare, ‘I gotchu.’

In a spirit of camaraderie, Stone, 36, donned a brown shirt jacket and jeans. She shared a light-hearted moment on stage, jokingly stumbling over her lines and exclaiming, ‘Oh God, this is going to go great.’ A cardboard display with nominees’ headshots decorated the venue, adding a touch of anticipation for those rehearsing.

Also on stage were Miles Teller and Da’Vine Joy Randolph, who were seen laughing and perfecting their timing. Randolph, who earned an Oscar nomination for her role in ‘The Holdovers,’ wore her floral jumpsuit while Teller sported a relaxed look in a baseball cap and casual attire.

Garfield, 41, and Hawn, 79, were another dynamic duo rehearsing for the Animated Feature and Animated Short categories. Hawn looked sharp in a black pantsuit, and despite a brief stutter, she quickly regained her composure, saying, ‘Okay, here we go…’ Garfield shared a laugh with her, showcasing their chemistry that had the crew chuckling.

The Academy has previously announced a star-studded list of presenters that includes Whoopi Goldberg, Hawn, and Brown, as well as past Oscar winners like Randolph and Stone. The excitement in the Dolby Theatre was palpable, marked by laughter and a shared passion for the event.

Cooked into the fabric of Hollywood’s entertainment scene, the Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC and Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET. As the stars rehearse and perfect their lines, they also reflect the camaraderie and anticipation of the occasion.
