Stranger Things Season 5: Returning Cast and New Additions Revealed
As the highly anticipated final season of Netflix‘s hit series Stranger Things approaches, fans are eager to know which beloved characters will be returning and who will be joining the cast. The core cast, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), and Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), will be back for the grand finale[2][4].
Sadie Sink, who plays the vital character Max Mayfield, will also return despite the character’s critical condition at the end of Season 4. Max was left in a coma with severe injuries after being a victim of Vecna‘s possession, and her fate in Season 5 remains a significant plot point.
In addition to the returning cast, several new faces will be joining the show. Notably, Terminator icon Linda Hamilton has been added to the cast, along with Nell Fisher from Evil Dead Rise, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux[2].
The final season, set in the fall of 1987, promises to bring the action back to Hawkins, Indiana, with the rift between Hawkins and the Upside Down now completely opened up by the monster Vecna. The episode titles for Season 5 have also been revealed, including “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of ____,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape from Camazotz,” “The Bridge,” and the series finale titled “The Rightside Up”[2][4][5].
