Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) personnel responded to reports of a possible drug exposure at Walter Reed Middle School in Studio City on Thursday morning. Officials arrived just before 10:30 a.m. to the school situated in the 4500 block of North Irvine Avenue.

According to the LAFD, a total of 14 students, aged between 12 and 13, were reported to have been possibly overdosed. The specific drug involved remains unidentified at this time, and it is unclear how it was introduced onto the campus.

While none of the students were in critical condition, LAFD did transport two of them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The remaining students were treated onsite and subsequently released to the care of their parents.
