Durant, OK — Sturgill Simpson is hitting the road this spring with his ‘Who the F**k Is Johnny Blue Skies?’ Tour, which kicks off on April 5 at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, Oklahoma. This tour comes after the successful release of his album ‘Passage du Desir’ under the Johnny Blue Skies moniker last summer.

Simpson will perform 23 shows across the United States, offering fans a mix of indoor and outdoor venues, including notable stops at the Wharf at Orange Beach in Alabama and the Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley. The tour will also include two nights at the Mission Ballroom in Denver and performances at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

Scheduled for a total of 12 cities through May 24, the tour is expected to draw large crowds. During his last tour, Simpson drew over 200,000 fans across 35 shows in 28 cities.

“This tour is going to offer something for every type of fan. We aim to create an unforgettable experience,” said Simpson regarding his upcoming performances.

In addition to the solo dates, Simpson will take the stage at several festivals, including Stagecoach in Indio, California, and the FairWell Festival in Redmond, Oregon, where he will headline Night 2. Tyler Childers, who co-produced Simpson’s 2017 album ‘Purgatory,’ will headline the first night.

An artist presale for the tour will begin on February 19 at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales starting on February 21 at noon local time. Fans purchasing through Ticketmaster can resell their tickets at original price if they cannot attend.

Simpson’s ‘Passage du Desir’ has been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the top country and Americana albums of 2024, solidifying his place in the music industry.
