Suits LA Teases Harvey Specter’s Return in New Trailer
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The highly anticipated Suits spinoff, Suits LA, has released a new trailer teasing the return of fan-favorite character Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht. The series, set to premiere on NBC on February 23, 2025, follows former New York prosecutor Ted Black, portrayed by Stephen Amell, as he navigates the high-stakes legal world of Los Angeles.
In the trailer, Ted Black is seen offering a contract to potential client Dylan Pryor, who questions his confidence. Meanwhile, tensions rise among his colleagues, Rick Dodsen and Erica Rollins, as they vie for power within the firm. The trailer also hints at a deeper connection between Ted and Harvey Specter, with a throwback photo of the two characters sparking intrigue.
“I never liked him,” says Kevin, played by Troy Winbush, referring to Harvey. “The only person I knew cockier than you.” Ted responds, “That’s exactly why I liked him.”
Gabriel Macht, who last portrayed Harvey Specter in 2019, confirmed his return in a November 2024 social media post. “When an old friend is in need… it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” he captioned a video of himself in character.
Stephen Amell, who plays Ted Black, previously teased the connection between the two characters in an interview. “You’ll notice behind my desk that there’s a picture of a young Ted Black with what can only be a young Harvey Specter, so there’s clearly a history between the characters,” Amell said. “We came up together in the D.A.'s office.”
The spinoff promises to deliver the same mix of legal drama and personal intrigue that made the original Suits a hit. Fans of the series are already buzzing about Harvey Specter’s return, with many expressing excitement on social media. “Harvey Specter is back in the year of our lord 2025 YESSIR,” one fan wrote.
Suits LA premieres February 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
