Survivor 47 Episode 10 Recap: Gabe’s Exit and Shifting Alliances
In the latest episode of Survivor 47, the tribe returned to Beka beach after a dramatic tribal council that saw Sol voted out. The episode began with an emotional confrontation between Teeny and Genevieve, as Teeny felt blindsided by Genevieve’s decision to vote out Sol. Despite their private talk, the trust between them was clearly damaged, with Teeny admitting she was playing the game with a lot of emotion and unsure how to pivot forward.
At the reward challenge, alliances and strategies were heavily discussed. Kyle expressed his concern about Gabe, suggesting that he could be a significant threat and proposing that they target him. Sam agreed to work with Kyle on this plan but also considered targeting Genevieve, who Rachel identified as her primary target. Meanwhile, Andy was working to solidify his alliances, particularly with Sue, who shared his disdain for Kyle.
The immunity challenge was an endurance test where contestants had to balance balls on a disc while standing on a balance beam. Before the challenge, Jeff Probst offered a deal: in exchange for the tribe’s Shot in the Dark advantages, they would receive a bag of rice. Everyone agreed to the deal except for Rachel, who had already played her advantage. Sam initially hesitated but eventually agreed to give up his advantage to avoid being targeted.
At tribal council, the atmosphere was calm but tense, with the tribe acknowledging they were in a phase of “threat hunting.” The vote ultimately led to Gabe being the 10th player voted out of the game, despite having no advantages or idols. Genevieve received two votes but was not the primary target this time. Gabe’s exit was significant, as he was seen as a major threat by the tribe.
The episode ended with Teeny reflecting on her emotional state and her determination to find new life in the game. The dynamics between the remaining players continue to shift, with alliances being formed and broken, setting the stage for more dramatic turns in the competition.
