Tampa Bay Empanada Festival Food Vendors

TAMPA, Fla. — The third annual Tampa Bay Empanada Festival is set for Saturday, featuring more than 100 empanada varieties from over 25 vendors. The event, taking place at Perry Harvey Sr. Park from noon to 8 p.m., aims to celebrate the diverse flavors of empanadas from different cultures.

Co-organizer Stephen McFarlane highlighted the event’s mission to showcase unique creations. “Every country has its own kind of empanada. My idea was, if you bring a fusion of all those different countries at one event, it’s going to be unique,” McFarlane said. He encouraged attendees to explore new tastes, adding, “There will be food there that you’ve never heard before. Try it! Everything at this event is absolutely spectacular.”

The festival has become a sought-after gathering for food enthusiasts and families in the region. Vendors will offer a range of empanadas, including traditional, modern, and fusion styles, ensuring there will be something for everyone. Expect live music and entertainment alongside the culinary offerings.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased online and at the event. This year’s festival aims to not only provide delicious food but also foster community spirit through cultural exchange.
