Target Launches Eco-Friendly Wine in Paper Bottles Nationwide

LOS ANGELES – Target launched its new sustainable wine line, Collective Good, which features eco-friendly paper bottles. The lineup includes a California Cabernet Sauvignon, a red blend from Spain, a Sauvignon Blanc from Chile, and a Pinot Grigio from Italy.
Collective Good will be available in nearly 1,200 Target stores across the United States. The wine is packaged in Frugalpac bottles, a type of paperboard made with 94% recycled material. Target claims this packaging has a carbon footprint six times lower than traditional glass bottles and uses 75% less water to produce.
Target promotes this line as an opportunity for consumers to enjoy high-quality wine while supporting environmental sustainability. “By choosing Collective Good, you enjoy exceptional quality from our estate wineries while contributing to a sustainable future,” the company said in a statement.
Frugalpac, the company behind the innovative bottles, aims to reduce carbon emissions through innovative packaging solutions. The initiative reflects growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly products in the beverage market.
