Tata Motors Launches Punch Ev In India With Impressive Range And Features

Tata Motors, the renowned automotive manufacturer, has officially launched its latest electric SUV, the Tata Punch EV, in India. With an introductory starting price of ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Punch EV is an exciting addition to Tata’s electric vehicle lineup. This new electric SUV is available in four variants – Smart, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+, with the top-end variant priced at ₹14.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Tata Punch EV is built on Tata Motors’ advanced Pure EV architecture – acti.ev. This platform ensures superior performance and efficiency, making it an ideal choice for electric mobility.

One of the key highlights of the Tata Punch EV is its impressive range. The SUV is available with two battery pack options – a 25 kWh pack with an MIDC range of 315 km and a 35 kWh option with an MIDC range of 421 km. These battery packs are complemented with two e-Drive options, a 60 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor, and a 90 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor, delivering powerful performance on the road.

In terms of design, the Tata Punch EV features a striking silhouette similar to its conventional counterparts. It offers a high-tech in-cabin feel with two screens – a 26cm high-definition infotainment display and a 26cm digital cockpit. The Punch EV also comes equipped with advanced connectivity features, including voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.

Tata Motors has taken the connected car experience to the next level with its ZConnect Connected Car Technology. This technology offers smartwatch connectivity and innovative features like a smart charging indicator, bi-functional LEDs, and a welcome and goodbye signature.

To ensure convenience for Punch EV owners, Tata Motors provides two charging options – a 7.2 kW fast home charger and compatibility with 50 kW DC fast chargers. With fast-charging capabilities, the Punch EV can charge from 10% to 80% in under an hour, providing flexibility and ease of use for daily commutes and long journeys.

Interested customers can book the Tata Punch EV through Tata’s new EV-only dealerships or the official website by paying a token amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries of the Punch EV are set to begin next month, offering a new and sustainable mobility solution for Indian customers.
