Taxdown Ai Tax Solutions Funding Announcement

Madrid, Spain — TaxDown, a Spanish startup specializing in tax management, announced it has raised €4 million in funding from Bonsai Partners. The venture aims to enhance its AI-powered platform for improved user experience and team growth.

Founded in 2019 by Enrique García, Álvaro Falcones, and Joaquín Fernández, TaxDown revolutionizes how millions manage their tax returns. The company generates over €10 million in annual revenue and plans to utilize the new capital for technological advancements.

The platform leverages AI to automatically analyze tax regulations, ensuring users can effortlessly complete their returns in minutes. More than 200 tax advisors support the system to guarantee accuracy and optimization.

“We don’t believe mega-rounds are a synonym for success,” said García, CEO and co-founder of TaxDown. “Our model proves it’s possible to scale efficiently, make AI work for people, and stay profitable—without needing to raise hundreds of millions.”

The new investment will focus on enhancing AI capabilities, automating tax processes, and introducing virtual advisor tools to facilitate user navigation. Since its inception, TaxDown has simulated over 2 million personal income tax returns, leading the market in filing volume in Spain and Mexico.

With over 30,000 user reviews and a 4.7-star rating on Google, trust in the platform remains strong. Its AI technology allows tax advisors to work up to 200 times more efficiently by automating tasks and delivering real-time updates on tax law changes.

<p“Artificial intelligence allows us to grow fast without adding complexity,” García added. “We’re processing millions of data points with a level of personalization that delivers real savings and peace of mind to our users.”

Bonsai Partners, recognized for its support of successful ventures, led this funding round, reaffirming its commitment alongside existing investors including Base10 and Atresmedia.
