Technical Glitch Plagues Groww App Users; Company Claims Issue Resolved

Users of the popular online financial services platform, Groww, faced technical difficulties on Tuesday morning, as they were unable to log in. Many users took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to voice their complaints. Anurag Sharma, one of the affected users, reached out to Groww via a tweet, stating, ‘I think @_groww servers are down. Not able to login. Anyone else facing this issue?’

Amar Singh, another Groww user, echoed similar sentiments, tweeting, ‘#groww app not working. Not able to login – showing SOMETHING WENT WRONG. Is this the case with everyone? Please help.’

Mayank Lakhera expressed his disappointment with Groww’s service, stating, ‘Absolutely pathetic service by @_groww. Unable to process my sell order. Trying since 10 AM. Every time I place my order, it gets rejected.’

Aside from login issues, some users also reported problems with seeing their account balance and executing orders. Prajapati Sushil wrote on X, ‘Groww balance not showing and order not executing @_grow.’

Groww, responding to user complaints, assured that the problem had been resolved and that the app was functioning without any issues. They wrote on X, ‘Pleased to inform you that we have successfully resolved the issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Thank you for choosing us.’

Meanwhile, in the stock market, the Sensex was down by 38.64 points or 0.05% at 71,385.01, while Nifty was down by 35.60 points or 0.17% at 21,536.20. Broader indices and sectoral indices such as Bank, Financial Services, FMCG were in the red, while Pharma and Auto sectors showed gains.
