Tenerife Dominates Castilla in 3-1 Victory

Valdebebas, Spain – The CD Tenerife secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Real Madrid Castilla at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano on Saturday. The win marked Tenerife’s fifth consecutive triumph in the Primera RFEF, solidifying their position at the top of Group 1.

Tenerife got off to a strong start, with Jesús De Miguel opening the scoring in the 15th minute after capitalizing on a defensive error from Castilla. His powerful strike from inside the box caught the Castilla defense off guard.

Just before halftime, Álvaro González extended Tenerife’s lead with a goal from a corner kick, making it 2-0. De Miguel added a stunning third goal shortly after, demonstrating his skill by navigating through multiple defenders before finding the back of the net.

After the break, Castilla regrouped and showed signs of improvement, making strategic changes to their lineup. In the 68th minute, Roberto Martín finally broke through Tenerife’s defense, scoring Castilla’s first goal of the season against the visitors.

Despite Castilla’s efforts to mount a comeback, including several close chances, Tenerife’s defense held strong. Dani Martín, the goalkeeper for Tenerife, made crucial saves to deny Castilla any further goals.

Both teams will have crucial matches coming up; Castilla will face Ponferradina on October 5, while Tenerife will host Zamora on October 4.
