Summer House Season 9 Cast Drama

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The drama surrounding the cast of Bravo‘s “Summer House” escalated during the Season 9 premiere on February 12, where past relationships and cheating rumors took center stage. The episode featured a heated exchange involving Paige DeSorbo and her ex-boyfriend, Craig Conover.

DeSorbo was challenged on the talk show “Watch What Happens Live” by cast member Miller, who took aim at Conover’s recent comments, stating that Conover had no right to comment on rumors of infidelity since he is no longer in a relationship with DeSorbo. Miller said, “I think this was one time that Paige needed him to say something and he didn’t.” She went on to assert that Conover’s silence was intentional. “By him not saying anything, he knows exactly what he’s doing.”

The conversation revolved around accusations stemming from a teaser of Season 9, in which DeSorbo alleged that Conover had been texting two other women while they were together. Normally closer friends, Miller asserted that Conover was “milking” the breakup for publicity, stating, “He came on here and he was like, ‘I’m the ex-boyfriend. This is now the role, I’m the scorned ex-boyfriend.’”

Miller’s critique did not stop there. She challenged Conover’s claims that DeSorbo had lied about being blindsided by the breakup on her podcast. “The network has the montage of you lying, so do with that what you will,” Miller noted, emphasizing the discrepancies in Conover’s narrative.

The tension does not end with DeSorbo and Conover’s interaction. Season 9 brings back the majority of the previous cast, including Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard, along with new faces Imrul Hassan and Lexi Wood. Notably, tensions run high as former couple Ciara Miller and West are under the same roof for the first time since their breakup.

In a classic setup for reality television, viewers can expect plenty of drama as the cast navigates their relationships amid the backdrop of summer festivities in the Hamptons. The stakes are heightened as Miller openly expresses her desire for DeSorbo to pursue a partner who is “a little bit more self-aware and doesn’t lie.”

As if the backdrop of complicated relationships wasn’t enough, the season also touches upon unexpected developments like Lindsay’s pregnancy announcement, stirring concern amongst the group. With multiple couples needing to navigate newfound dynamics, the upcoming episodes promise a blend of conflict and camaraderie.

“Summer House” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, with episodes available for streaming the following day.
