Thom Yorke Announces Solo Tour Across Australia and Asia
Renowned musician Thom Yorke, best known for his work with Radiohead, has unveiled plans for a solo tour spanning Australia and select Asian countries. The highly-anticipated ‘Everything’ tour will showcase Yorke’s iconic music from his extensive career, including tracks from his solo albums and collaborations.
Yorke, who has released three solo albums apart from his work with Radiohead, formed the band Atoms For Peace with Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and long-time collaborator Nigel Godrich. More recently, Yorke joined forces with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner to create the experimental band, The Smile.
The Smile, which dropped their latest album ‘Wall Of Eyes‘ in January, has been making waves in the music scene. Yorke, known for his diverse musical endeavors, is also recognized for composing soundtracks for acclaimed films like ‘Suspiria’ and ‘Confidenza’.
In a recent social media post, Yorke hinted at upcoming news for his devoted Australian fans, urging them to subscribe to the W.A.S.T.E. mailing list for updates. The tour announcement marks Yorke’s solo debut in Australia, as he prepares to captivate audiences with his unique solo performances.
