Exciting news in the entertainment world as Tim Hortons, the iconic Canadian fast-food chain, prepares to make its theatrical debut with a new musical titled ‘The Last Timbit’ at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto.

The musical, inspired by real Canadian stories, will feature a star-studded cast including Chilina Kennedy, Jake Epstein, Andrew Broderick, DeAnn deGruijter, and more, with music and lyrics by Anika Johnson and Britta Johnson, and a book by Nick Green.

Michael Rubinoff, the originating producer of ‘Come From Away’ and a distinguished figure in Canadian theatre, is spearheading this new production.

The heartwarming musical is set against the backdrop of a blizzard that struck Sarnia, Ontario, in 2010, forcing a group of individuals to seek refuge in a Tim Hortons restaurant for nearly 24 hours.

‘The Last Timbit’ promises to be a celebration of community connection, reflecting the essence of everyday Canadian life with humor and heart.

The production, scheduled for June at the Elgin Theatre, has garnered much anticipation and excitement among theatre enthusiasts and fans of Tim Hortons.

In addition to the musical, Tim Hortons has partnered with Roots to provide wardrobe and merchandise for the show, further enhancing the Canadian essence of the production.

As the musical gears up for its premiere, a national contest has been launched by Tim Hortons inviting Canadians to share their special Tims stories for a chance to win a trip to Toronto to see ‘The Last Timbit’ in person.
