Quandre Diggs Lisfranc Injury

Tennessee Titans safety Quandre Diggs has suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury, according to reports from NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. The injury occurred during the Titans’ Week 9 win over the New England Patriots.

Diggs, who signed a one-year contract with the Titans in August, had been a full-time starter for the team this season. He played in all eight games, logging a 99% snap share and recording 42 tackles. Despite his significant role, Diggs did not register any interceptions or pass breakups this season.

The Lisfranc injury, which affects the midfoot area, will require surgery. This development is a significant blow to the Titans’ defense, which has been one of the team’s strengths despite their overall 2-6 record. The injury could also impact Diggs’ market value when he becomes a free agent in the spring.

The Titans are already dealing with other injuries, including center Lloyd Cushenberry who may also be out for the season. With these losses, the team’s defensive depth will be tested, and they may be active sellers before the trade deadline.

Diggs, a three-time Pro Bowler, has had a long and distinguished career, playing in 145 games with 120 starts across his time with the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and now the Tennessee Titans. He has 24 interceptions, 56 passes defensed, and five forced fumbles in his career.
